| I live 10 miles from Belfast and my campus (University of Ulster, School of Fine Art and Design) is in the Cathedral quarter of the city about 2 minutes away from the Merchant Hotel. My campus is being renovated at a cost of £30million which was designed by Todd's who are also doing our new SU and they have their offices about a minute away. Compared with ten years ago when the Waterfront Hall was just being finished the Lagan side is unrecognisable today. Victoria Square is being built just the other side of our building so we are quite lucky as an Architecture department to be right in the middle of everything. Once the old section of our building is finished being renovated we will be moving into the top floor and have views over the entire quarter. |
