It's pretty clear that there was a system crash with the Design Community forums or that the forums were hacked by someone, so I'm assuming this is a post that got mixed up somewhere.
However, Craig, if you really meant this as a post about the WildTools on-line manuals, then maybe you might want to talk to your doctor about getting on some medications!
I take my medications and I'm fine!

Wow, I have NO IDEA where that came from. My actual post was:
WT Manuals very excellent, but they weugh more than I want to lug through airports (I travel two-three weeks out of the month). Is there an electronic version I can grab? _________________ Craig

Craig,
There's a pdf of the manual. I believe it comes with the disk. And there's also a help system that was done in France for both English and French. I'm not sure where it is. All I look at is the printed page.
I hope you're getting along with WildTools okay.

Just FYI...
This forum system is complex enough that there's one table in the relational database for the summary information about all the postings, and separate tables for all the posting contents, for the topics, etc.
Yesterday morning the database table with the summary information about all the postings was gone, and had to be restored from a backup version about 100 postings or so (20-25 topics maybe) earlier.
That restoration left the 100 or so later postings, still present in the content table, floating around at loose ends, and they seem to be popping up in strange places, solid content but with scrambled authors, topics, and forum placements. Working on a way to unwind that chunk of craziness.
Anyway... Thanks for rolling with these complications with such good humor and a positive, forward outlook! |

I getting along famously with WT.
I could not find the electronic manual anywhere. Someone uploaded an electronic version for me and I grabbed that. I tried to respond a while back but I keep tripping the system spam warning system. I guess I am too sleazy... _________________ Craig

| I have the WTs 8 manual. It does come with the app though so anyone owning the s/w should have it. The file name is WildToolsEBookDocs.pdf and it is only 5.3 MB. If anyone needs it I can email it if Alfred says it is OK (copyright provisions and all...). |

No problem on emailing or posting it. The copyright is just standard legalese.
I seem to recall that we had the English Help System posted somewhere, perhaps in the Bullpen?
