Liquid Stucco claims their product is used on the Space Shuttle. The ceramic coating was comparable in university lab in california against white paint for its R value properties, and you got it, it was just as good, and not a lick better.

On cold days, Heat loss, as you know is verticle, through the ceiling. And the factors contributing are convection (poorly sealed walls, windows). On hot months heat gain is going to be through windows. Reflective properties of Ceramic if they were better than paint, don't matter much.

So unless you home is going to do a re-entry into the stratosphere from an Earth Orbit (in which case use cermic tiles instead of paint), your paying NASA prices for spoof product.
